Spark of Creation B-A by nadav-y Spark of Creation B-A by nadav-y
hi there ,

just a quick before and after to show the process of making this picture , not a big tutorial (because of time) but still can be helpful for some who's interest of the making of it .

before I'll start i must say that the first impotent thing is to know what you want to get from the picture before you take it . i knew i wanted something with a wide lens feeling , because i would photograph it that way first place , but i had a problem with the place itself (the man let me photograph him from a distance , about 1 meter from him) .
then i knew i would edit it in some similar way after i took the picture .

Explanation of the process :
1 - source picture , you can see the distance i was from him and the real perspective of the picture .
2 - edit in Lens Correction : Horizontal Perspective for the main feeling (to the left side) and some Geometric Distortion for the wide feeling .
3 - blue channel edit and levels on the background .
4 - blue channel edit and levels on the pants .
5 - blue channel edit and levels on the shirt .
6 - blue channel edit and levels on the body parts - face and arms and the red disk cover .
7 - some levels and color corrections - minor edits for the next step .
8 - final color edits - some Color Gradients of your favored color , Curves and a bit Hue to reduce some of the colors . in this step feel free to play around with Burn / Dodge .
9 - final before submitting : frame , signature , darken edges , resizing and saving .

* explanation of the blue channel edit can be found here - [link] .

if you like to ask more about the picture or the edit feel free to ask :)

The Original Version of the picture .

hope it was helpful ,
have a nice day ,
N .

Nice tutorial ^_^
But just so you know, it has to be "final" instead of "finel" :p
